About Nathaniel

I'm currently enrolled in grad school for counseling and dance therapy and I'm looking to help take care of older folks while in school. I spent the last year as a teaching assistant at an elementary school and the last nine years before that working in bookstores. Some of my favorite customers that came in to the bookstore were the older people that needed someone to talk to. I don't have professional training as a nurse, but I have a lot of patience and experience with caring for others. I love cooking fresh meals for people and I'm willing to do housework, run errands, take people out for light activities, help with getting dressed and ready, and I look forward to being a steady companion. As much as it's important to get the basics covered, I also understand the importance of having a caring social connection and I really believe in deepening into that as part of the caring relationship.
