I got into this industry seven years ago when my mother had a cancer scare, I wanted to be able to care for her properly.. the past seven years I've had two clients well two main clients when I just lost last year due to cancer and the other was sent to a nursing home due to dementia but within the seven years I've dealt wheelchair bound clients full care clients in hospice.. I've been with the same agency for seven years.. being in this field, you have to have a heart. My only downfall is getting attached to the clients that were temporary... I still go to the nursing home that my second client that I had for five years is in and visit her and take her favorite meal.. She still remembers me.
