Hello! I am a virtual (or in-person) academic coach based in Rapid City, South Dakota. With a background as a full-time student-athlete and a degree in education and special education, I am currently working towards completing my certification in academic coaching. I am passionate about helping students, particularly at the high school and collegiate levels, achieve academic success both in and out of the classroom. I work with students to enhance foundational academic skills, such as test-taking strategies and effective homework organization, all aimed at improving and maintaining their academic performance. Rather than simply providing answers or directing them to solutions, I coach students through essential skills that empower them to independently identify and solve problems. My approach fosters the development of strategies and confidence necessary for long-term academic success.

Natalie's interpersonal skills helped me a lot outside the classroom as I was navigating an engineering co-op as a student athlete. She was great at keeping me accountable for reaching out to professors and coaches while I was off at my co-op and due to her help I was able to create better relationships with my professors that led to opportunities I would not have otherwise had. While I was at school she helped me navigate several interactions with professors that did not want to be accommodating of my athletic schedule or give extra assistance. She was very though rough and creative in assisting as an academic coach with my classes even though my engineering degree was outside her normal scope. I can not recommend her enough to other student athletes especially those with special education needs.
