About Natalie

Hello! My name is Natalie, and I'm a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a degree in Recreational Therapy. I've just completed a four-month, 600-hour internship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where I worked in a residential treatment center hospital setting. This experience allowed me to advance my skills in facilitating therapeutic interventions and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while engaging with children and adolescents (ages 8-17) with diverse mental health needs. Currently, I work as an Activity Therapist at a psychiatric hospital, where I lead therapeutic activities and provide support for individuals with varying needs. In addition to this role, I have over 6 years of experience working with children ages 0-11 and 2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities, including a previous role at the Campus Child Care Center at UWL.
