I have worked direct care jobs assisting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in residential group homes and day programs for 5 years. I am currently working in higher education in accessibility services, in which I have 7 years experience. I have a bachelors degree in Disability and community services and a masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have education in specific disabilities and experience helping individuals complete activities of daily living, facilitating community involvement, and pursuing personal goals. I have specific expertise in Assistive Technology. I enjoy forming relationships with those that I assist and promoting self-determination and independence. I am available on nights and weekends to work with individuals in their homes or in the community.
