About Natalie

My schedule is currently full. occasional time on weekends only. While I do not have any paid experience caring for the elderly, I have spent the last 4 years being very involved in my own parents' care. My mom has had a slow decline with dementia and she currently lives in a Memory Care Facility. A few years ago, my Dad, a strong, capable man, became overwhelmed with my mother's condition and worried about the future. He began a downhill slide, both physically and mentally, and passed away from complications from multiple surgeries. I know firsthand how difficult it is for the elderly who want to continue living independently but also need some extra help. I also know how difficult it is for the adult children with busy lives of their own to care for the parents needs, like appointments, medications, help around the house, and everyday companionship. I would like to work with older people to honor my parents who would have preferred to stay in their long-time home until the end.
