Welcome to my page! My name is Naomi and I am an experienced tutor in grades K-12, ACT and SAT prep, and college level classes for students with all learning abilities. I have a degree in Inclusive Childhood Education and I taught Social Studies for more than 3 years before starting my own tutoring business. I understand that each student has their own unique strengths and learning needs, so I tailor each session to a student's needs and interests. My goal is to help students feel empowered and take ownership of their learning, so they can feel proud of their accomplishments and succeed in school. I have experience tutoring both in person and remotely and have a flexible schedule. My first session is always free of charge and I look forward to hearing from you!

I hired Naomi to help tutor my two boys, kindergarten and second grade for seven months during the pandemic. She worked with us eight hours a week... therefore I know her so well and miss her so much. Naomi is the sweetest, most thoughtful, patient, kindest teacher and person. Our public schools had a schedule for our remote afternoons which Naomi coordinated but she also added to that a supplemental curriculum tailored to each child. The kids looked forward to their time wit her and never viewed their sessions as "work". She was always wholly professional and prompt with responses via text or email and also perfectly on time and that is four days a week for seven months. I would recommend Naomi wholeheartedly to a new family and would be more than happy to chat over the phone or in person to anyone looking to hire her in the future. Our family adores her, including our dog ;)
