About Naomi

Hi ! I'm Naomi, I am a 30-year-old energetic, fun & caring auntie of 4 kids :) who think I'm the best auntie in the world! Experience wise, I have 2+ years supervising/teaching children at an after school program called engineering for kids where I taught grades K-12 how to build & code robots with Legos. Before moving to North Carolina a year ago, I worked at a daycare at Long Beach State where I supervised children ages 3-5 during meal times, outside play & guided activities. I also have 10+ years in a personal setting, helping raise 2 of my nephews from birth. While being here in NC, I have helped around 6 families & I'm currently caring for a 6-year-old girl & 7-year-old boy, preparing meals, bath time & bed time. Overall, I have experience caring for children ranging from newborn to 11 years old. I'm looking to earn some extra experience helping families in their home caring for children, tidying & anything to make your lives a bit easier! I look forward to hearing back from you!

Naomi was friendly, polite, and on time. We hired her for backup care for two days, but she seemed to have a little trouble handling our 2 year old and 1 year old. I wasn’t able to be fully hands off. There were a few other misses on the second day: not washing their bibs after meals, letting them track in dirt, leaving the play area a mess, and both boys having diaper rash by the end of the day. I think she’d do best with short, babysitting gigs instead of backup care.
