I have been a counselor at a camp for individuals with disabilities for three summers. I have also volunteered at Olympics events. This year I was in a class where we taught our special education students adaptive PE. I have also been a TA in an elementary school special education setting. I enjoy working with those who have disabilities because they deserve just as much attention and appreciation as any other person. I think that disability inclusion should be normalized so that everyone can feel welcome.
