About Naomi

My name is Naomi Buettner I'm currently a full time college student at Carlow University in Pittsburgh PA. I have been working with children for almost eight years now. Currently I'm still babysitting for most of the families that I have been working with since middle school. After working with many families they have recommend me to many of their friends so I have had a lot of experience with many different families. In my junior year of high school I became a lifeguard which led me to get my Water Safety Instructor certification, and because of this I'm now a part time swim instructor at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. The job includes teaching private swim lessons, and group lessons ranging from the "baby and me class" all the way up through level six at the JCC. Being a swim instructor has also helped me with children, because it taught me how to be able to balance many kids, and to teach them effectively well being the best teacher I can be. I have had many great comments from the parents about the way I interact with their children, and I also was able to receive another babysitting job from one of the parents who's child I teach.
