I'm a happy, caring people person and honored to serve seniors. They are wise and just need a little help. My job is to assist them so they can live life to the fullest. I started caring for seniors as a Girl Scout at retirement homes. I also spent time with my grandma helping her as a widow. When my mom got cancer in 2007 and became bedridden, I cared for her. In my spare time, I play with grandkids, help vets with bingo, and sing in church choir. As a retired teacher I read and grow veggies. This year I have been caring for a senior couple in Bandera and really enjoy it. My top three skills are communicating openly, observing individuals and situations to analyze overall needs, and interacting with care. kindness and wisdom to serve my senior friend.
