I'm a retired Teacher Assistant with over 20 years of experience at the New York Institute of Special Education, specializing in K-12 students with special needs. During my career, I supported the lead teacher, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and helped students with motor skills and transitions using visual aids, and provided translation services. I adapted to teaching during the pandemic to ensure students continued to receive the care and attention they needed. I'm passionate about mentoring children and helping them become more independent and confident. As a mother of three, patience and understanding are at the core of my approach.
