About Nancy

I love seniors. My love for them stems from losing my mother when she was only 63 years of age and I ache for the lost chance of taking care of her. For me therefore old people give me a chance of doing what I was denied to do by my mothers untimely death. I take care of them as if I am taking care of my own mum and I simply love what I do. My father too died at an early age and so my loving and compassionate care stems from knowing I am given a chance do what I would have done for my own parents. I took care of a senior in her home. When I went there I was dismayed at how neglected she was being fed from cans only, and while this is not very bad entirely I took it upon myself to change her diet and only fed her freshly made food and soups, made sure she bathed and well groomed and within no time she started to take interest in how she looked started watching television and commenting on what was happening. The Doctors who visited commented on her change and her family too. She was 94 when I started working for her and she died at 101 plus some months on top. I still miss her but since she died in November of last year 2014, I feel I am now ready to move on to my next Mum/Dad.
