I have been a CNA for over three years now. I have been working as a agency CNA traveling to many different Nursing homes both in the state of Maine and outside of the state. I decided to take my love of my work to in - home to better care and take one on one time to the people that I serve. I believe being home is where people want to be and I want to make them as comfortable and happy as they can be. I have worked with psych, dementia, skilled and long term care resident's. Nancy has been caring for my 94 year old mother who has dementia in our home for about a year now. She stays with Mom a couple of days a week to give me a break, and has also done overnight shifts. Nancy is kind and respectful towards Mom and works quietly and efficiently, doing a wide range of tasks, including bathing, dressing and toileting Mom, as well as meal preparation, housework and caring for our family pets.
