Hi! I have been babysitting for nearly a decade now, caring for families on vacation in mountain towns for my side job. I spent the last few years teaching middle school science and earning my Masters in Education. I love helping out in kindergarten classrooms and have a growing love for early childhood development after being a very involved auntie for my 6-year-old nephew. I am trained to teach social-emotional-learning and am passionate about coaching the kids I work for to learn to self-regulate their emotions and advocate for their own needs rather than doing everything for them myself. I spend my free time exploring new trails, doing pottery, reading, paragliding, whitewater rafting, and mountain biking. My main line of work is backcountry ski guiding and teaching avalanche courses around Colorado. I am visiting family in the Chicago Suburbs, where I grew up, for the summer and available for work as needed.
