Since I was a toddler, I have been helping my mom at her in-home daycare center. Later I was doing childcare while I was in college. I prefer to do hands-on activities rather than T. V. and children thrive when they are active and showered with attention and taken seriously. I don't use bad words or get angry. Because I have a nurturing personality, I gain trust by genuinely caring about their needs. I believe T. V. stunts the growth of creativity and critical thinking so I like doing crafts, reading out loud or just talking with children. Most children over 2 years old need to express their thoughts to someone who listens and asks questions so the child knows their feelings are heard. As a parent or a caregiver, I enjoy encouraging young ones to talk about their day, give their point of view.

We hired Nancy as a teacher for our 15 months old baby boy. She was very good with kids, very responsible, and extremely patient and caring as well. We wanted our baby to have a bunch of sensory plays, messy plays, and training in his hand and eye coordination, etc, and Nancy was able to provide that. Every class she arrived on time and prepared, with toys, arts and crafts activities, etc. Our baby absolutely loved her, and whenever we tell our little one Nancy is coming, he would get so excited with the biggest smile on his face. After each lesson she documented and circulated the things our boy did well, things he needs to improve on, etc, and also provide a schedule for the next lesson. This is something we appreciate very much as it allows us to see the progress! We recommend Nancy to any parents without reservation. She is very good, and we will definitely be looking to hire her again!
