Since 2006, I've worked with K-5 students, in a variety of schools doing consultant work for Literacy How, Inc and Hill for Literacy, both organizations leaders in the area of reading research and implementation needed to help schools improve literacy outcomes for all students. As such, I've assessed student needs and skill levels, created and implemented structured literacy lesson plans to meet the needs of struggling readers. I'm passionate about teaching students struggle because of poor reading instruction.
