I have 4 years of experience working as a community/personal support professional. I have worked with a developmentally disabled woman in her 40's and without speech exploring the world, learning ADLs and life skills. I have worked with a young woman with severe mental issues as a community support/job coach. I am an excellent companion - happy and a good listener. I took care of both of my parents and loved it. My father lived with me 16 great years until his death. I have a dear friend I've taken out and about for years. He has Alzheimer's disease and is different every day. It's okay. I meet him where he is. No problem. I love animals and have fed a colony of feral cats for 12 years.
