Hi there! My name is Nalani and I primarily work as a behavioral specialist for children with autism in schools as well as homes. If I have a day off, I also substitute teach in the DOE. With a degree in psychology and having took STEM classes for fun, I help learners with anything from behavior to academics all based in a fun learning environment. While I specialize with autism, the tools I use can enrich anyone's lives and I have worked with newborns all the way to 19 years old. Currently I am working in a preschool and it is so much fun! Kids really do say the darnest things. Coming from a big family, childcare has been a natural part of my life. From the age of 12 I have been babysitting my nieces, nephews, cousins, hanai family, friends, and neighbors. It has been such a joy to watch them grow, learn, and create fun memories together.
