I like working with kids because I love creating a special bond with them. Watching them cry when they see me because they know that means their mom is leaving turn into them crying when I leave makes me feel like I'm doing something right. I'm looking for a job where I can engage kids in fun activities like drawing, dance parties, and playing with toys as well as teaching them and watching them grow. I have a lot of energy and enjoy hands-on activities. As a babysitter there are a few important skills to have. Most importantly communication is crucial for understanding the needs of both children and parents. It helps build trust. Second, creativity is important in engaging kids with fun and imaginative activities, like drawing sessions and dance parties. Being creative keeps the energy positive. Patience is also important. Each child is unique, so being patient helps navigate every personality.
