About Nafisat

Hi, I'm Nafi! I am a TA at a deaf school. Originally on a medical school track, my commitment to enhancing education access for children with disabilities shifted me toward teaching. Seeking challenging roles, babysitting allows me to create crucial positive experiences in children's development. Since I was in middle school, I've used diverse strategies in child engagement and seeing the results of these strategies have been extremely rewarding! I prioritize collaboration with parents to tailor behavioral approaches. Despite a speech impediment, I connect easily with children while maximizing their potential. In my spare time, I enjoy coding, baking, and watching sitcoms & K-dramas, and focus on personal growth through financial podcasts and workouts. I enhance children's personal skills like self-confidence, problem-solving, emotional regulation, turn-taking, patience and many more! My strengths include teaching social-emotional skills and conflict resolution efficiently.
