About Nadine

Hello, I am a part-time stay at home mother of two. I previously worked in the medical field for 9 years, I moved to Columbus, GA two years ago to work part-time with the family business (Media/Journalism), and become a stay at home mother to ensure my to young boys received all the attention, love, support and encouragement needed to become their best. I have a love and passion for young children and their all around needs, with great patience and understanding I have a strong ability to connect with youth. I have over 10 years experience as a teacher assistant, lead preschool teacher/paraprofessional, with an emphasis on reading, English (over 15 years experience), and was a youth counselor of a large church congregation in South Florida, and a current PTA member. After recognizing the lack at attention, time, and patience the educational system has for students I have decided to home school my 3rd grader to give him the one on one he needs. I am heavily involved in various youth volunteering organizations around the city, upon finishing my degree this 2015 year, I'm looking forward to becoming a home school parent to other youth, or substitute teacher. Working with the Family business, we are owners of a Local Bi-lingual Newspaper and Magazine. I write, edit, market, conduct and oversee projects and community events. I speak conversational Spanish, currently taking classes to become fluent. In the process of becoming a certified tutor/teacher.
