About Nadia

I have been working with children for 10 years starting as a babysitter from home. I realized my love for children at age 10 when a baby cousin of mine was born. I spent hours on end with her. No matter what is happening in my life, I am always my best and happiest self when I am with children. My greatest skills with them are being able to use my imagination and my patience. Following my at home babysitting, I started babysitting at a family's homes and was recommended to a family that asked me to assist in a camp for kids with them. In this camp, I was in charge of doing crafts with the children, helping them learn dances, playing games with them, and keeping them safe at all times. The ages of the kids at this camp were 5-12 years. When I went to college, I found a job at a local nursery where I worked with kids ages 0-5 years. I helped them feel comfortable and calm and engaged them in different activities based on their age. Since I have returned home, I have found another part time position at a local nursery very similar to the previous one. As far as my professional goals, I am aspiring to be a doctor of physical therapy specializing in pediatrics.
