Hi! My name is Nadia. My primary experience with special needs consists of taking care of my two sons with autism. My now 15-year-old was considered severely autistic when he was 3 years old and he's now very high functioning, considered mild Asperger's by his school. Goes to a typical classroom, out of special needs classroom by age 9. My younger son is moderately autistic, fully verbal and is currently in special needs classroom, 7th grade. I have a very extensive first hand experience with: ABA therapy, floor time, attended speech therapy and occupational therapy courses and sessions for years, certified PT ( however, I must add, for adults/ geriatric patients). Worked with kids with different disabilities, including rare genetic disorders. Experience with g-tube feeding. I'm absolutely great with infants.
