About Nadia

Hi there! My name is Nadia, and I'm a 22-year-old social work major currently interning in Urbana-Champaign. I'm working at Magnolia House, a residential program supporting single mothers aged 18-22, and I'm in the Champaign area Monday through Wednesday. I have years of experience working with children, starting with babysitting in 7th grade. Over the years, I've worked in after-school programs supporting at-risk kids, assisted in church nurseries. I absolutely love spending time with kids and watching them grow and learn. One of the most rewarding parts of babysitting for me is staying connected with the families I work with - even during college, I'd get FaceTime calls just to check in or for kids to share new things they've learned! Currently, I'm seeking a side babysitting job as my internship is unpaid, and I plan to move to Champaign after completing my program.
