Hey, I'm currently a caregiver and have been for over 10 years. Usually, I provide long term care for families. I work with special needs kids and young adults with disabilities. I also double as a mother's helper & I'm a great listener! However, I love kids! I have experience with kids ranging from newborns on up! My best quality is patience. I'm a great role model, good with crafts, games, early education, and homework. Plus, I'm a cautious driver. I'm also willing to learn new methods to care for your child. I know basic Spanish and Sign language. I take a Covid test weekly. The goal is to further my education and become a preschool/kindergarten teacher. As of now, I have availability from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday & Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. I'm also available for on call date nights, I do overnights, & I travel!

Nèkia has been an outstanding caregiver for our baby boy, encouraging him to grow and learn each day, also showing much patience and extra love on his tough days. She connected quickly with our baby, who was always very happy to see her too. She is reliable and experienced, and handles babysitting an infant and toddler very smoothly and confidently. Nèkia is also very helpful in tidying up the house and happy to take on extra tasks as needed. But her primary focus was always first on our kids and their needs of the day, showing great flexibility. I would highly recommend Nèkia for childcare.
