About Myriam

I am writing to highly recommend Myriam L, who has been our beloved nanny for the last 8 years. Myriam came to our family when my oldest daughter was just 5 months old. She has truly helped to raise my two daughters from infants to elementary school (now 8 years old and 6 years old). Before coming to us, Myriam was with a family for almost 19 years and then another family nearly one year. Myriam is a US citizen, speaks English and Spanish, and has her own car. Myriam is kind, patient, and extremely helpful with the whole family. Even my dog adores her and waits for her at the door every day. She is a great cook, keeps our house extremely tidy, excellent at arts and crafts, and keeps the girls happy and engaged in activities off screens. When the girls were babies and toddlers she would drive them to Music Together classes, library story time, and playgroups with other nannies at the local parks. She would regularly set up social activities for the girls with the nanny-playgroup, including Christmas parties at the library and birthday parties at the park. As the girls have gotten older she has helped with school work, reading, getting them to after school activities, and generally helped to keep our busy lives organized. She has stayed overnight with the girls and our dog on several occasions. My daughters always look forward to a Myriam sleepover party! Myriam is extremely reliable. She is always on time, has been flexible with staying late as our work schedules demanded, and has only called in sick one time during these 8 years. She was a steady and comforting presence in our house during the Covid years. Myriam is an excellent driver. She has her own car and I have felt very comfortable with her driving our girls using car seats we installed in the back.
