About Myra

Having cared for my mom who had terminal cancer when I was just 23 was the beginning of this love for being a caregiver. My father was then lost and I took care of him for 7 years until he died of a heart attack . He lived with me. I went to RIC for Social Work. I have worked with RIARC in Woonsocket in 12 different homes in an on call position for 10 years, driving vans dispensing medications doing physical therapy and homemaking. I have taken care of stroke patients and driving patience to medical appointments, took them on vacations, cared for their pets and shopped for their groceries. I also took care of a paraplegic for almost a year. Helped with money management and exercise routines. I raised my two daughters and homeschooled them and had them ready for college by age 16. I am recently divorced and looking for flexibility. Flexibility is a must. I can work nights also. I was also a personal fitness trainer for many years and I am fit.
