I am a fully certified special education teacher with over 20 years of experience working with students with many different challenges such as the following: specific learning disabilities, dyslexia, speech and language delays emotional disorders, Cerebral palsy, and autism as well as many others. I also have some experience caring for seniors with dementia. My experience ranges from pre-school children to young adults. I am currently employed as a teacher in the self-contained setting in a junior high school. I can use AAC devices, transfer patients including with a Hoyer lift, and provide basic hygiene and personal care including feeding. I am fully certified in special education PK-12 in Arkansas with dyslexia certification Grade PK-12 as well. I am looking for part-time summer work including occasional care opportunities including overnight care in your home. And I adore pets.
