Recommendation for Mykhia S. ., Caregiver Extraordinaire If you're looking for a caregiver who can juggle a medical schedule, make a 92-year-old laugh until she snorts, and still have energy left to organize a closet by color and season, then Mykhia is your person. Mykhia cared for my grandfather for over a year, and in that time, she became part of our family. She’s the rare kind of person who knows exactly when to offer help and when to step back and give dignity. She has a calmness that makes even tough days manageable and a quiet strength that makes you feel everything will be okay. She’s punctual (to the point where we joked she must live in a different time zone that runs 5 minutes early), meticulous in medication management, and shockingly good at crosswords. She even managed to teach my grandfather how to use a tablet—an accomplishment worthy of a medal or at least a very large cake. Any family would be lucky to have Mykhia.
