About Myka

I like working with kids because they are so much fun to be around. I have loved getting to watch the children I've babysat and nannied for grow up and develop their own unique personalities. Children, no matter their age, always have such a unique and optimistic outlook on life, and I think that it is so rewarding to be able to connect with them and see the positive impact I have made on their lives. I believe that my place as the babysitter/nanny is to reinforce the parents views and I will follow the parents' lead 100% of the time. I am very creative and I have no problem with coming up with activities to do with the children. I can teach basic arts and crafts and I am able to go outside and play with the children and engage in all the activities that they like to do. I am also patient and I am able to act appropriately and help them regulate their emotions when children have their moments and melt down.
