Hello! I have over 10 years of experience in nurturing and educating children with a wide range of experience from a camp counselor to a full time nanny. I have worked with ages ranging from newborn to preteen. I am currently a college student at Colorado State University studying social work. I enjoy all sports, reading, and any kind of arts and crafts. I have experience in planning daily activities and I like to prioritize doing activities that allow kids to explore, be creative, and/or be active. I am CPR and babysitter certified and have taken many classes on early childhood throughout my college career. I started working with kids when I was 10. On my birthday I was old enough to become babysitter certified and I started babysitting as soon as I could after. Mykal is nothing short of extraordinary. As our youngest transitioned out of daycare and into grade school, we needed to pivot to at-home care to make things more convenient on our busy schedules. We interviewed several candidates, but we kept coming back to the first person we interviewed - Mykal. She was (is) genuine, down to earth and inquisitive. She started and went above and beyond - consistently asking us what more she could do to help. Entertaining our kiddos is a tough task to live up to, and she met the challenge head on. Always confirming with us first, she made sure that our kids could be entertained outside of our home. Mykal will fit right in and will go the extra mile to make things convenient for your family.
