About Mya

I've lived in New York for the past 3 years and I now plan to move to Austin, Texas permanently! During my time in New York, I've had the ultimate pleasure of being part of a vibrant community of caregivers, educators, and parents. I have 2 years of experience as a full time nanny and babysitter. Primarily for babies and toddlers, but I'm also comfortable with children and young adults. I've nannied for a couple families and grown a babysitting business in the Harlem area, working regularly for 7+ families and growing. My caregiving style is very hands-on and connected-think of me as a professional older sibling who's always present, engaged, and invested in your child's day. I am active, structured, creative, and patient. I've taken child development classes which helps me focus on the child's cognitive and emotional development. I'm recently married and a proud cat mom. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, doing arts and crafts, roller skating, and being outdoors!
