About Mya

Hello, my name is Mya. I am a 19-year-old NDSU student who is studying Human Development/Family Science and Elementary Education, specializing in Special Education. I've been working with children from a young age, here are a few of my experiences. For two years I volunteered at a church, I got to teach a class of 1st and 2nd graders about God. I was a dance instructor at a studio throughout high school working with various ages from 4-12 years old. I nannied full-time the past two summers, having two to three kids at a time. The youngest being 4 and the oldest being 13. I drove them to activities/appointments, took them to do fun things like swim, and most importantly kept them safe, fed and happy throughout the day. Lastly, I am currently a dance instructor working with 1-17-year-olds every week. I am now looking for a family I can assist to during the summer where I can enjoy my passion for working with children and have fun with them during the days of the week.
