About Mya

I've always been passionate about caring for children and making a positive impact on their lives. With 3 years of experience as a childcare provider and student at Northumberland County Vo-Tech and, babysitting jobs on the side as well, I have a strong desire to support families and provide reliable childcare. I can also help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. My creative and imaginative personality allows me to engage children in various activities, including technology-based games apps, crafts, and role playing with toys. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe in open communication with parents, providing regular updates about their child's day and addressing any issues that arise using their preferred method of communication. I have First Aid Training, am CPR certified and was a CNA. I'm comfortable taking care of children aged 0-11, and I can manage up to two children at a time.
