About Mya

Hello, my name is Mya. I am 24 and in my second year at Century Community College. I have availability during the week, so I think it'd be awesome to make a new connection and become a part-time nanny again! It is my goal to be a responsible, kind and adaptable childcare provider. I have 1 year of professional experience nannying 1 toddler (July 2020 - June 2021) plus about 6 years experience with babysitting for friends and family. It's important to me to keep kids safe and comfortable while encouraging them to explore the world. :) I love reading and crafts. I'm open to helping out with light housework, as well as with pets. I have reliable transportation. I was a lifeguard at the YMCA in 2019, that was my first CPR and First Aid certification. I had it renewed in 2022, though it is now currently expired. I am willing and ready to attend a renewal course upon being hired, as I think it is a valuable life skill to have. Thank you for reading!
