About Moriah

Hello! My name is Moriah. I have been working in the early childhood field for a year and a half paid and studied primary education and student taught/observed for 4. 5 years! I have been wokring at a childcare center primarily in the infant room. I have been responsible for up to five babies independently and 12 babies with co-teachers. I have been the lead teacher for a year. My role and responsibilities include meeting with each family, establishing a relationship with them, setting an individualized schedule for each child's feedings and naps, updating that schedule when developmentally appropriate, assessing and monitoring each child's gross motor, fine motor, personal-social, communication and problem-solving skills, setting goals, monitoring the growth of each goal, maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of my classroom, building strong relationships with each child, and communicating with parents about their child's day and any concerns or issues that may arise.
