About Morgan

Hi, I'm Morgan! After 7 years as a public educator, I transitioned to private homeschooling and tutoring to better address individual student needs. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. As a reading specialist, I focus on the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is designed for dyslexic learners but beneficial for all beginners. I emphasize integrating reading and writing by using reading and spelling patterns in daily journals. I offer enrichment programs for students who need extra challenges, as well as targeted support for those struggling with the TCAP. My approach is tailored to each student, ensuring they reach their full potential. I primarily tutor online but am open to traveling for the right opportunity.
