About Morgan

This coming fall, I will begin my first year of teaching with elementary students, and I am very excited about it! I have 5 years of experience with childcare. This ranges from teaching, to babysitting, subbing, being a swim instructor, and being a counselor at camps and other youth organizations. I student taught with 4th graders for half of my experience (11 weeks). I spent the rest of my student teaching experience in Ireland (8 weeks) working with kids ranging from preschool (3) to 6th grade (12-13). I have experience working with ages 3-19. Outside of teaching, I have experience with 4-9-year-olds due to my job at the youth organization and babysitting, 11-13-year-olds from working at camp, and 14-19-year-olds from coaching high school tennis. Previously, I have been a lifeguard. This went from ages 15-18 and 20-21. Although I no longer have my lifeguarding certification, I do have my CPR and first aid training, so I'd be happy to watch any children around water.
