Hello there! I'm Morgan. I work as a mathematical statistician but I've noticed that I miss teaching. I graduated with an MS in statistics from Ohio State University in 2022 where I was awarded the Thomas and Jean Powers Teaching Award for excellence as a TA. While math and statistics have my heart, I also enjoy science courses and even an English assignment or two. As a tutor, I believe my job is not only teaching students the material but also how to learn in a way that makes sense to them. For math, that might be the newer common core methods or it could be our "old school" ways. I prefer to find whatever methods help the student understand rather than teaching a singular way to solve a problem. I have over 10 years of paid experience tutoring students in math ranging from 1st grade to college courses. With me, your students will receive a customized approach to help develop their specific learning skills. Note: I have different rates for in person and online tutoring.
