I have been fortunate to have almost a decade of experience in the Human Services field working with individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities in a therapeutic setting. I have worked with folks of all ages from 6 to 102 years old! I've discovered over the years that what I enjoy most is working with seniors. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Writing Practices and have recently returned to school to study Anthropology and Social Work. I have experience working with neurologically diverse individuals as well as individuals struggling with mental illness. In my mid-twenties I gained invaluable experience caring for my father who was diagnosed with early onset dementia and who passed in early 2018. Additionally, I have experience developing curriculum for emeritus courses for Seniors in Creative Arts and Reminiscing. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and am a SAMHSA Certified Crisis Counselor.
