My grandfather was a paraplegic my entire life. He has recently passed away, but he was able to teach me a plethora of valuable lessons while he was here with us. Because of this, I grew up being very comfortable around wheelchair dependent + neurodivergent persons. Also though college, I volunteered with adults at Angelwood - a special needs day care in Jacksonville. I also took a wide range of Abnormal Psychology courses during undergrad!
