I hired Monique for care of my mom. She was very polite and appropriate on the phone. On the day of her shift she did not show, didn't call. She texted the next day that she had a family emergency so we completely understood. The following week we hired her to come help mom. We wanted to give her another chance. We waited and called, texted after 15 minutes ... Never heard from her if she was coming, couldn't come, etc. Not professional. I understand unexpected things happen but communicating is crucial when hired to care for elders. We are flexible and patient but it was very disappointing.
