This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 7 yrs
My name is Monique (Mo) & I have worked in the "care profession" for over 15 years now. I started out as a babysitter/nanny, & then eventually took on more traditional care giving jobs. I find this work to be incredibly rewarding because of the relief that I can offer to families, & the meaningful human relationships. I enjoy offering warm-hearted companionship, mobility assistance, transportation, & overall improving someone's quality of life. I'm not squeamish & feel comfortable standing my ground with individuals labeled as 'difficult'. I'm a good-hearted, upbeat caregiver w/ a versatile personality to adapt to whatever care giving needs are required for a specific client. I have direct experience working with the following: Alzheimer, dementia, quadriplegia, Cerebral Palsy, stroke survivors, wheelchair-bound, & mental illness. But I am open to working with any type of need.

First let me just say this - she deserves every star I gave her! Monique is without a doubt a WONDERFUL person! Our mother (who is very fussy - I might add) just lovers her. The reason is... she really does care and goes above and beyond to call of duty. We love that she comes up with so many great ideas to help bring joy into moms life. It isn't just about the job to her - its about the adventure. To Monique - "the adventure" is finding out how mom can get the most out of life. Its all about the little things to her...she listens and pays close attention to whats important to mom and then comes up ways/plans to make those things happen. Whether its getting outdoors on sightseeing drives and day trips, getting her favorite reading materials, recipes and more. Simply put, Monique goes the extra distance - she genuinely wants to know what brings her joy and happiness. That is a true gift! I am absolutely thrilled we found her - what can I say - shes the best!
