About Monique

Born into a family of teachers, I found my passion for working with children at a young age. It all started with volunteering in younger classes during middle school, which led to my first job at a daycare center. I continued working with children at my home church, eventually studying elementary education at Oakwood University. For 8 years, I specialized in first through second grade math, science, and social-emotional learning in Atlanta. I've been recognized for project-based learning, virtual education, and was honored as Genius Educator of the Year. I've also served in school leadership roles. Although transitioning to the tech world, my heart remains dedicated to children. To me, they are eager sponges, ready to absorb love, knowledge, and positivity.
