About Monika

Hi there! I have over 5 years of private-nanny experience, and am all about creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where kids can learn and grow! I've worked with a range of ages ranging from 3m-13yrs old and really love using Montessori methods to encourage independence and creativity. I'm also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), which has been a great way to connect with children and families in a unique way. Plus, I've taken several classes in special education, so I'm comfortable working with children of all needs and abilities. I look forward to getting to know your family and making sure your kids feel safe, supported, and happy! Even though it may not be technically required, I love to incorporate crafts, prepping learning-based activities, spending time being active outdoors, and creating an overall enjoyable environment for the child(ren) I'm caring for; regardless of age. I also have a sweet boy of my own who just turned 1.
