Teaching and learning with children is a passion of mine. Before teaching the 3rd and 2nd grade, I lead a preschool classroom focusing on language development through authentic and meaningful interactions. As mother of 2 and teacher I wholeheartedly believe in a child-centered approach to learning. It's import to get to know learners and teach based on their needs and preferences. My goal as educator is to instill an intrinsic motivation to be a lifelong learner. I'm looking for a part-time position with afternoon hours. Weekends would be an option as well. Monika provided childcare and education to my son between the ages of 3-7. She was an Au Pair. I had had an Au pair before her. It was a decent experience. So we tried Monika. She was amazing. She NEVER raised her voice. She is the "Queen" of redirecting a child's behavior. She is unbelievably patient. She encourages your child's confidence and imagination. She is responsible, timely, organized and a very positive influence on the people and children she comes into contact with! I would hire her for child care again in a heart beat
