My background spans mainstream education (7 years) and instruction for alternative learning styles (2 years) in a DIR school, where I employed Floortime strategies to educate children with ASD, sensory processing disorder, ADD/ADHD, and other regulation issues. I have recently begun training in private instruction for S2C, a form of AAC that utilizes a letterboard. If you're interested in S2C sessions or have questions about it do not hesitate to reach out! S2C is appropriate for nonspeakers (including limited or unreliable speakers) age 5 and up. In addition to S2C, I am offering relationship-based in-home support which can encompass age-appropriate education with individualized supports, enrichment activities, and daily living skills.
