Monica interviewed with me over the phone twice and came over for a trial day to watch my two children, ages 1 and 4. She got a bit lost and arrived late but called me to let me know, which I very much appreciated. She brought along a folder of references and immediately asked me about the kids' daily schedules, what they like to eat, preferred activities, etc. She was very friendly and sweet with my children, and very involved. Both of my children have a ton of energy and my daughter chats nonstop, but Monica never seemed the least bit frustrated or frazzled, she entertained them both with games and activities and redirected when necessary. She was absolutely wonderful and the only reason we didn't offer her the position was because of scheduling differences. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a kind, playful nanny for their kiddos!
