About Monica

Hi there! I'm Monica. In childcare, I utilize my education in psychology to care for children with a focus on play, safety, and creativity. Children's energy, sense of wonder, and endless curiosity is admirable. I appreciate any moments where I can interact with children patiently, enthusiastically, and help them to grow. Often, I build relationships with children easily by meeting them where they are at and exploring their interests. I have experience volunteering at a crisis center, where I learned active listening skills. My experience includes: an internship at a preschool, a summer camp counselor, helping children learn to read, and babysitting (including experience with disabilities). My goal is to follow the lead of your parenting and give your child(ren) a safe space with focus on a human centered approach.
